Each of the 19 bungalows at Bicheno accommodation stands alone, with its own covered car port and deck, open plan lounge and kitchen areas with doors into separate bedrooms. Each cottage is generously equipped with cooking and eating utensils, microwave and conventional oven, bedding including electric blankets and doonas, hair dryer, television and DVD. Some bungalows have washing machines. A guest laundry services others.

At dusk the canoe lake resounds with the unique "plonking" of the banjo frog.
